How to Elope at North Cascades National Park

So you’re looking for an adventurous way to celebrate your love for each other in a beautiful setting and want some epic photos to match? Look no further, here’s some tips to make your day special! And if you’re looking for someone to capture it, I’m your gal!

  1. Choose the best time of year

The North Cascades get a good amount of snow, so it’s important to pick the right time of year! Usually there’s snow until early July, so if you plan a date in mid July til early October, you’ll get the most out of a summer elopement. Planning a cozy cabin getaway? Anytime after October and you’ll definitely get those vibes.

  2. Hire an elopement photographer (hey, that’s me!)

  3. Pick your ideal elopement location

Your elopement photographer would know all the best spots for the best photos!

  4. Get your Washington marriage license & National Park special use permit (it’s an easy wedding permit, not to worry!)

  5. Plan a celebration in the North Cascades!
