Elopement in Lago di Braies, Dolomites

Eloping at Lago di Braies offers an intimate, cinematic backdrop: emerald waters framed by jagged Dolomite peaks and a misty alpine hush. Minimal crowds and a serene wooden pier make it ideal for a private vow exchange, sunrise portraits, and quiet moments captured against dramatic natural light. Ideal for couples who want timeless, moody scenery with effortless romance and a sense of being truly alone together.

Alsi and Eric are from Germany and eloped at Lago di Braies in the Dolomites! We rented out the boathouse for our own private session and had it all to ourselves. Our slot was for 8:30 AM so we took photos along the shore before moving onto the dock, and afterwards we took photos by the church. It was a beautiful autumn day at the end of October, which is the very last of the Dolomites season and the boathouse closes until the following spring.

If you’re looking for a native English-speaking elopement photographer local to the Dolomites area feel free to reach out and I’d love to help plan your dream session! For more info on my pricing, check out my packages here.
